What is a Processor?
Underneath that touchscreen display there is a full- fledged computer that commands your apps so that they function properly. A processor executes what you want your smartphone to do or in other word you can say processor is brain of computer.
there is Exynos, Snapdragon, quad-core octa-core etc.
What is a core?
It is an element of surprises. They are present inside processor and are responsible for reading the command and executing them. First devices came with single core processor but later on scientists invented more advanced processors such as dual core , Soon, there were quad core (4), hexa core (6) and octa core(8).
What does these core signifies?
The cores are helpful in the speed, in other words number of cores is directly proportional to speed of the smartphone. Its makes your smartphone experience snappy, your Apps load quickly, you can capture high quality video and photos, your gaming experience enhances. There may lie some exceptions but generally, the more cores the better the performance.
What is the difference between quad core and octa core?
There is a myth among some of us that octa core is twice as fast as quad core but that is not true, although octa core is faster than quad core but their functioning is deduced during app works. For example you are browsing internet then one of the core is taking responsibility of its functioning then while browsing a call comes in then the second core immediately gets to work. Both web browsing and phone call will work without any trouble.
What to look after while going for smartphone?
If you are willing to buy a smartphone then look for processor specialty there you will find what you need. If you need your smartphone to be faster then go for multi-core processor
